Register your event for increased exposure
Are you hosting a CFA Open Day, road show, campaign launch or other community engagement event? Maybe you are taking part in fundraising or a local community function.
Make sure you remember to register your next event on the CFA event registration webpage to help increase awareness and community attendance.
It’s easy to do. Just go to the What’s On page on the CFA website and click on the ‘Register your event’ tab. Details you will need to enter include:
- type of event
- participating Brigade name/s
- location, time and date
- description of the event
- optional photo
Once all details are submitted, the event will be publically displayed on the What’s on page, where the community can see your event via a listing (which can be expanded to display event details) as well as map location.
“Following any event, we encourage brigades to complete an evaluation to document attendance levels, event activities, promotional activities and what worked well,” said CFA Partnerships and Marketing Manager, Saskia Van Bever.
“This shared information allows members to access past event details and see what worked well for themselves and other brigades.”
The post event evaluation can be completed online via the Activities page in the event registration site. Simply find your event by District and click on the ‘Complete report’ tab.
As an incentive for brigades to register their 2016 Open Day event and complete an evaluation, brigades are rewarded with $150 to go towards the cost of their Open Day.
