Over 120 people participated in the Bushfire CRC Next G fire prediction online forum in late May, conducted as part of the Research to Drive Change forum series.

Covering the Bushfire CRC FireDST project, leading researchers Dr Kevin Tolhurst (University of Melbourne), Ian French (Geoscience Australia) and Dr Mick Meyer (CSIRO) joined lead end user Ralph Smith (Department of Fire and Emergency Services WA) in explaining the significant scientific advancements made and answering audience questions. The forum was hosted by former ABC TV Catalyst reporter Tanya Ha.
