Rural Champs a great success

CFA volunteers were in fine form this weekend at the annual Rural Senior and Junior State Championships. An estimated 2000 CFA volunteers and supporters flocked to the Warrnambool Showgrounds this past Saturday and Sunday to witness the competition.

Highlights included seeing the Mandurang & Eldorado Juniors beat the Chief’s Chargers in the Low Down Pump.

The top gong in the seniors went to Greta in Division 1, Dunrubon/Nangeela in Division 2 and Millbrook in Division 3.

The winner in the juniors was Greta.
