Fun and fire tips at Scienceworks
This weekend as part of an ongoing rescue exhibition at Scienceworks, CFA will be the host emergency services organisation offering demonstrations, shows and information to visitors.
This initiative is supported by agencies from across the emergency services sector and aims to promote awareness of emergency rescue and community safety.
To complement the exhibition, the Captain Koala and Friends Show will entertain visitors across the weekend and promote community fire safety messages to children and their families.
Hot fire training demonstrations will also take place over the two days, providing the public with opportunities to experience realistic training conditions.
A fire truck will be available for visitors to tour and kids can pose for photos in a mini fire truck. Members will also be available over the two days to answer visitors’ questions and discuss fire safety with families.
Entries close at 5pm on Monday 1 September and tickets will be posted to the winners on Tuesday 2 September. Passes will be valid for 12 months.
