Last weekend saw CFA attend the Seymour Alternative Farming Expo, which was held in Seymour over the three days from 15 to 17 February.
The event draws visitors from across Victoria and some 2,000 people stopped by to say g’day to CFA.
Whilst at our display they had the chance to:
- have their questions answered
- pick up fire safety information
- check out the new 2.4C medium tanker
- learn more about the FireReady Smartphone App
- get a copy of their local Community Information Guide
- learn about smoke alarms and how vital they are to saving lives
This year Victoria Police joined CFA to present information on arson and reporting fire starters to Crime Stoppers, and we worked with Goulburn Ovens TAFE to present two information sessions on “Building in Fire Prone Areas.”
It was a great few days - thank you to everyone involved!
