Spate of grassfires in Mickleham
UPDATE, Wednesday 12.15pm: The grassfire on Mt Ridley Road in Mickleham is now under control.
An Advice message is in place for the towns of Mickleham, Kalkallo, Donnybrook, Craigieburn and Yuroke.
Crews will remain on the scene extinguishing any hot spots.
UPDATE, Wednesday 11.50am: CFA crews are currently attending multiple grassfires in the Mickleham and Craigieburn area.
All fires, bar one, have been called under control and 15 tankers and aircraft support continue to battle the remaining fire on Mt Ridley Road.
The grassfire is travelling slowly in a easterly direction towards Rosette Parade.
A Watch and Act message has been issued for Craigieburn and Mickleham.
Residents on Rosette Parade are advised to move back two streets should the grassfire impact them.
Police and fire investigators will attend the fires due to suspicious circumstances.
