Spring edition of Brigade magazine out now

Brigade Magazine is on its way to volunteers and staff across Victoria, with 80 pages of features, brigade news and operational information to help members prepare for the summer fire season.

Spring

Brigade Magazine is sent to members across Victoria twice a year, and includes stories about recent incidents, training, community safety, wellbeing, health and safety and general CFA news.

The spring edition includes features on CFA’s next generation prototype pumper tanker; the rollout of General Firefighter; CFA’s Coast Guard volunteers; the new Supplementary Alerting Service application; the build of 18 new CFA trucks; the role of Group Officers; bushfire donations; and a 12-page guide with the crucial information operational members need to know ahead of the fire season.

The cover features a photo of CFA firefighters battling a blaze whilst on deployment at Kremnos in north-east NSW in November 2019 by Scott Mulheran from Eynesbury Fire Brigade. The shot took out the Amateur category of this year’s National Volunteer Week photo competition.

The magazine is also available online on the CFA website.
