State fires roundup: 7.15 pm
All fires today are now under control,but with dry lightning forecast into later this evening emergency services remain on alert.

A fire on Camerons Lane at Carisbrook near Maryborough, which burnt through 200 hectares is now contained. Smoke may be visible from nearby communities and roads and firefighters will be patrolling the area overnight. Emergency services are asking nearby communities to be aware of heavy machinery patrolling the area.
Firefighters have now controlled a fire which started at 1.45pm at Lillicur, about 8 kilometres west of Talbot. The bushfire burnt 20 hectares of grass and bush. Ten CFA tankers, 6 CFA slip-ons, 1 bulldozer, 2 helicopters and 60 firefighters were involved in controlling the blaze which took just over an hour.
Also today was a 12-hectare grassfire at south-east of Edenhope; a grassfire north of Avenel which affected traffic on the Hume Freeway; a four-hectare fire at Murtoa and; a plantation fire at Dartmoor.
