State Forum registrations closing soon
There are only three weeks left to register your interest in attending this year’s CFA-SES Community Safety and Hazard Awareness State Forum. Spaces are filling fast and numbers are strictly limited.
The State Forum is Victoria’s premier community safety conference for emergency services personnel and is a highlight for people who play a vital role in engaging their communities in prevention and preparedness activities and education.
The State Forum will be held at Mantra Lorne on the weekend of August 6 & 7 this year.
Across the two-days, members will hear from front line community safety educators; as well as leading community engagement specialists and behaviour change experts. The State Forum will deliver some of the tools, ideas and skills needed to work in local communities to reduce the incidence and impact of fire, flood and storm.
This year will again see CFA team up with VICSES to bring together members from both agencies to focus on how we are ‘Working together for safer communities’.
All CFA members are welcome to register interest to attend the State Forum – CFA volunteers must have approval from their Brigade Captain and CFA employees must have Line Manager approval to attend. There is no charge to attend – all conference costs, meals and overnight accommodation will be covered.
To register your interest to attend the State Forum, click this link: Registration of Interest Please note: filling in this form does not guarantee a place at the State Forum. Registrations of interest to attend will close on Friday 3 June, with attendees notified via email by Friday 1 July.
