Dear Colleagues

I am writing to let you know that Ms Lucinda Nolan has advised me of her decision to resign as Chief Executive Officer of the Country Fire Authority effective immediately.

Lucinda has been the Chief Executive Officer since November 2015.  Prior to joining the CFA in November 2015, Ms Nolan served the Victoria Police for more than 32 years, holding positions as Deputy Commissioner, Strategy and Organisational Development and the Deputy Commissioner Regional Operations.

On behalf of all members of the new CFA Board, I express my gratitude to Ms Nolan for her contribution to emergency management in Victoria and her commitment to improving diversity and the workplace in the Victorian emergency services sector.  Ms Nolan has had a long period of service to the people of Victoria and deserves our thanks.

I wish her well in her future endeavours.
