 A grassfire was started by a truck being used to cart hay.

Without the professional decisions made by the crews first on-scene, the outcome could have easily been devastating.

More than 30 CFA vehicles, a number of aircraft bombers, members from Forest Fire Management and private community fire units were able to stop the fire about 50

metres from properties in the small community of Red Bluff without any loss of lives, livestock, or houses.
