CFA crews are fighting a grassfire in a paddock near Ballyliffen Crescent in Torquay.
Five trucks from Belmont, Connewarre, Grovedale and Torquay are at the scene.
District 7 Rostered Duty Officer Anthony Field said crews were quick to respond and there was no threat to homes at this stage.
