Traralgon Fire Brigade celebrates another successful and busy year with their Annual Dinner at the Traralgon Winery and Vineyard.

Approximately 50 members, their partners and Invited guests celebrated with a great meal at the Traralgon Winery and Vineyard.

Guests included Mr Russell North, Member for Morwell, Mr Craig Lapsley, Fire Services Commissioner, Mr Allan Rankin, Dist 10 Ops. and Councillor, Mr Michael Rossiter, Latrobe City. Highlight of the night was the presentation of numerous awards.

Congratulations to all award recipients at the annual dinner. Awards presented where the National Emergency Medal to LF/F's Justin Elliott, Jamie Wilkie and 2nd Lt. David Forester.

These were presented by Mr Russell North, Member for Morwell, assisted by OIC Peter Lockwood, Craig Lapsley, Fire Services Commissioner and Allan Rankin Dist 10 Ops. Officer.

5 year certificates were presented to: - F/F Luke Bibby, F/F Steve Morgan, VF/F David Paton.

10 year medals to :- VF/F's Jo Loeschenkohl, Craig Eenjes.

15 year Clasp to: - VF/F Bernard Goodwin, Dawn Angel.

20 year Clasp to:- VF/F Stuart Hill.

35 year Clasp to: - S.S.O. Glen Ravenhall.

To receive awards at a later date due to not being able to attend:

5 year certificate: - VF/f Nicholas Grassens, VF/f Brett Ellis.

10 year Medals to: - VF/F's Andrew Turrell, Jason Yalden and Cheryl Robinson.

25 year Clasp to VF/F Graham Fisher.

A total of 185 combined years of service. Ladies Auxiliary recipients were:

Joan Hill 20 years, Lyn Day 35 years and Coralie Stuckey 35 years. These were presented by Craig Lapsley.

Finally, the Junior Firefighter of the Year was won by Mitch Fawkner with the Firefighter of the Year being won by Jo Loeschenkohl.
