Truck fire in Elmore
CFA firefighters responded to a truck fire in Elmore this morning, 10 November.
CFA was called to the incident just after 9.30am.
The truck, which was carrying hay, was alight when crews arrived on scene.
It’s believed the fire started in the trucks exhaust then ignited the hay bales that the vehicle was carrying.
The incident was brought under control at 10.55am but unfortunately the vehicle was destroyed.
Firefighters remain on scene to ensure the fire is fully extinguished.
6 CFA trucks from Elmore, Hunter, Kamarooka, Rochester and Tennyson attended the incident.
Police were required for traffic control.
