CFA members (staff or volunteer) aged 35 years of age are being sought to participate in a forum on the future of CFA’s Service Delivery.

This forum is designed to gather input from our generation Y and Z (approximately under 35 years of age) members, ideally bringing together a cross-section of volunteers and staff from rural and urban areas to have their say.

The activity is part of the next steps within the development of the CFA Service Delivery Strategy 2025, and would be a great opportunity for anyone who considers themselves a lateral and strategic thinker.

The forum will be held on Sunday 20 October (from around 0900-1600hrs TBC) at the Yarra Valley Conference Centre- 2164 Melba Hwy  Dixons Creek VIC (TBC).

About the Service Delivery Strategy

The CFA Service Delivery Strategy  2025 will be the overarching strategy that will inform our future service planning and capability requirements across the whole organisation.

It is a key mechanism for ensuring the Chief Officer’s statutory obligations are complied with. The Strategy will inform and be progressed through CFAs multi-year corporate strategy, and CFA's corporate annual plans.

The Service Delivery Strategy provides the means for the Chief Officer to set out his forward vision for CFA’s service delivery over the 12 years ahead.

The Service Delivery Strategy discussion paper was released in mid-July, and the initial state-wide consultation with districts, regions and headquarters has now closed.

The discussion paper is accessible via the CFA Intranet and Brigades Online (About CFA>Service Delivery>Service Delivery Strategy).

If you have any questions regarding the Service Delivery Strategy contact Project Manager Phil Harbutt (03 9262 8532).
