Are you set up to receive important information direct from CFA?
Members are being reminded to check their contact details and settings are up to date to make sure they are able to receive timely updates and messages from the Chief Officer.
Why update your phone number?
CFA’s operational activities require that we can quickly reach members by phone and know they’re safe, or to provide urgent operational messages.
Why update your email address?
Email is one important way of providing timely updates, including about issues and events being discussed in the media.
At the same time as you update your details, you can also opt to subscribe to different categories of updates. These include:
- CFA Urgent Updates
- CFA News Updates (fortnightly)
- From the Chief Officer
- My District Updates
You can opt in or out of these categories whenever you like.

How to update your details and subscriptions
Update your details directly by visiting the Update my Details section of Brigades Online.
Click on the ‘Menu’ Tab to get to the ‘Manage Subscriptions’ page, or follow this link

Communications survey reminder
Have your say on all forms of (non-radio) communications via the 2016 Communications Survey. This survey is primarily aimed at brigade members.
Visit https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/279JLN6 to complete the survey online, or fill out a paper copy in the last edition of Brigade magazine.
