Hi all, thank you for providing views on issues we need to consider and suggestions about the way ahead. Over the past couple of weeks we have been discussing the project with HQ managers to gain an understanding of how the project activities fit with other projects and functions.

At the same time, meetings are being arranged in districts to discuss local requirements for IDs, any systems that have already been developed for issuing IDs, local experience with access through traffic management points, local views on the vehicle sticker system, and any ideas for the future.

We will also seek feedback on the current Traffic Management Point Guidelines prior to any discussion with VicPOL.

We have visited Districts 8, 13 and 14 and have made arrangements to visit Districts 4 and 12. More visits are being planned so we can be in touch with all districts during the project. While on these visits we are looking to meet with volunteers, group and brigade office bearers as well as regional and district staff to make sure we are hearing the various perspectives of different groups across CFA.

Please keep asking your questions and adding ideas so we can capture and consider issues early in the project.

Regards,

Keep safe and well.
