Volunteer Leaders Forum – apply now
Current and future volunteer leaders have the opportunity to attend the Emergency Services Foundation third Volunteer Leaders Forum, to discuss the latest technology and policy initiatives in emergency management.
There are 40 spots available for CFA volunteers to attend the forum, which is funded by the Emergency Services Foundation and will take place in Melbourne over the weekend 3-4 May.
The forum will include a leadership workshop, tour of MFB’s new Craigieburn training facility, speakers including the Premier, Minister for Police and Emergency Services and Bushfire Response and Fire Services Commissioner and a networking dinner on the Saturday night.
This conference aims to better prepare volunteer leaders by keeping them up-to-date with the latest in policy, doctrine and technology, which will ultimately result in better outcomes for the community.
In addition to CFA, the forum will be open to volunteers from Alpine Search & Rescue, Red Cross, Bush Search & Rescue (Vic), Echuca-Moama Search & Rescue, Shepparton Search & Rescue Squad, SES, Ambulance Victoria, Australian Volunteer Coast Guard, Life Saving Victoria and St John Ambulance.
