Wednesday night: Members' Q&A with CEO and CO
CFA members will have the opportunity to put questions to the CEO and Chief Officer during an online ‘live stream’ session this Wednesday at 7pm.
New CEO Frances Diver and Chief Officer Steve Warrington will use the one-hour session to brief members on current issues before moving into a Q&A.
Live streaming is an online video format and will allow members from around the state to ask questions and hear responses in real time.
The session can be watched online by volunteers or staff via www.livestream.com/cfavic – either live on Wednesday night, or later on. No log on or password is needed to access the site.
CEO Frances Diver said she encouraged members to send in questions before or during the live stream
“We welcome questions about the proposed operational enterprise agreement, or any other topics that affect you or your brigade," she said.
“We are a large organisation that covers a huge geographical area so this is one way available to us to connect with members.
“Steve and myself will continue to get out and about and meet with brigades and support staff in coming months.”
Past live stream sessions have covered a whole range of topics including training, uniforms, brigade elections, health and safety, or organisational structure.
To help keep the session moving, members are asked to keep questions as brief as possible (under 150 words is ideal).
