Wellbeing services over the summer months

Planning and preparing for the summer months can often be a stressful and hectic time. In the lead up, stresses that can impact on our wellbeing often increase, especially when trying to balance time, work, family and volunteering. This can leave members feeling under extra pressure, stressed and fatigued. Therefore, it is important to keep a check on both physical and mental health and wellbeing generally over summer.

During the summer months, CFA’s peers provide frontline support. Wellbeing services advisors Fiona McKinnon and Jade Bibby say: “The Peers do an outstanding job all year round but during the summer months. The hours they contribute, their commitment and their dedication go above and beyond”.

Over the next few months, the Wellbeing Pilot team will continue to offer proactive training programs and targeted case work to CFA members state wide as required.
