Those participating completed 6 Drills:

  1. Drafting from Yarroweyah’s collar tank using Wilby Tanker
  2. Entrapment procedure using the new retro fitted Peechelba Tanker
  3. Hydrant work and drafting using Bundalong Tanker
  4. Simulated pole fire using Burramine Tanker
  5. Familiarisation of the Yarrawonga Tanker and the Yarrawonga Group Forward Command Vehicle
  6. Boost drafting using all five tankers to shift water from the collar tank at one end of the running track to the other end of the running track and out Yarrawonga’s Tanker.

Yarrawonga Group Training Officer Lyndon Hart was impressed with the turnout of members and their participation in the drills. He stated, “It was hands on training allowing members to refresh their skills for the upcoming fire season.”
