CFA Health Services has developed two health drop-in sessions to promote healthy behaviours among CFA members during the extended lockdown.

With the current COVID-19 restrictions and members working remotely it’s important for all of us to look after our health. 

The CFA Health Services team is running two health drop-in sessions open to all CFA members. The sessions will be run online via Zoom.

These two sessions will provide advice to members on managing their own health as well as give members an opportunity to ask any general health questions they may have.

Session 1: Sit Less, Move More

Wednesday 21 October from 11am-12pm

Hosted by the CFA Health Team, topics include:

  • Health impacts of prolonged sitting
  • Tips for ensuring regular breaks
  • Tips for getting the most out of breaks
  • Share - suggestions from the group on reducing prolonged sitting Encourage regular breaks
  • General Health Services Q&A

Session 2: Making Healthy Eating Easy

Wednesday 11 November from 1pm-2pm

Hosted by the CFA Health Team, topics include:

  • Healthy eating tips
  • Healthy eating vs. dieting
  • How to get more fruit and veg
  • Share: healthy eating tips and suggestions
  • General Health Services Q&A

The sessions aim to provide tips on creating healthier behaviours, with opportunities to hear how people across the organisation are keeping healthy.
