Australia's premier queer arts and cultural event, Midsumma is held in Melbourne over the course of three weeks, attracting around 120,000 people. This year the festival takes place from Saturday 19 January to Sunday 10 February.
There are a number of ways in which CFA is participating, see below for more details:
Midsumma Carnival Day
When: from 11am, Sunday, 20 January
Where: Alexandra Gardens, St Kilda Road, CBD
What: A picnic along the banks of the Yarra River with festivities running throughout the day. Watch the hours of free entertainment running over multiple stages and activity spaces with your fellow CFA members.
CFA Pride 5th birthday morning tea
When: Thursday, 31 January 2019 10:30am
Where: Level 2, Building 8, CFA HQ, Burwood
What: A special morning tea to celebrate five years of CFA Pride.

Midsumma Pride March
When: from 11am, Sunday, 3 February
Where: Fitzroy Street, St.Kilda
What: Parade, pride and party come together once a year in Melbourne's iconic march through St.Kilda. CFA are wearing yellow wild fire fighting pants – get along and join in Midsumma’s flagship event!
These events are open to all CFA members, as well as families and friends.
