On Saturday 13 October more than 100 community members gathered at Moe South Fire Station for a community bushfire exercise.
This is the third year in a row where fire restrictions have commenced earlier than usual in East Gippsland and our pre-season preparations are well underway.
The next two weekends are proving to be the biggest community days of the year, with CFA brigades opening their doors to the public across the state.
