CFA firefighters have been battling a house fire overnight in Tallarook.
CFA was called to the scene at 11pm on Tallarook-Pyalong Road.
The single storey weatherboard home was well alight and firefighters worked hard to control the fire.
The fire was brought under control just after 12.30am.
The house was completely destroyed by the fire.
CFA had 9 trucks and around 40 firefighters on scene.
Victoria Police and Ambulance Victoria was also on scene.
The Arson Squad and FRV is investigating the scene.
