Bailey Rhodes won the 2018 Spirit of CFA Youth Award. Bailey is an inspiring, proactive member of Melton Fire Brigade. On top of organising the Annual Pink Stumps charity cricket match between Melton and Werribee brigades, Bailey is an instrumental coach for the Junior Brigade, ensuring the success in their activities and creating a nurturing environment to encourage them to continue their participation as they grow.

Fiona Macken is an integral part of the Diamond Creek Fire Brigade and the broader Diamond Creek community. Community safety coordinator and operational firefighter, Fiona works with the local high schools, health centres and organisations to craft innovative programs that address the specific needs of her community. These are some of the reasons Fiona has been awarded the 2018 Community Engagement Award.

Susan Little has been an active member of CFA for over 20 years in various roles including a firefighter, welfare officer and junior brigade team leader. Susan encourages effective communication and good work ethics throughout the entire Hamilton Fire Brigade and between other agencies. Her commitment to the protection of her community personifies the values of CFA and, as a result, has been awarded the inaugural Living the Values Spirit of CFA Award.
