The CFA Inclusion and Fairness team has now delivered two of the LGBTIQ+ Awareness and Allyship training sessions to a wide variety of CFA members.

Feedback has indicated an overwhelming positive response to the sessions with participants finding it useful and interesting All CFA members can still register for the third and final session for this financial year.

Anonymous feedback provided by participants so far has highlighted increased awareness and understanding from the session.

“The training provided me with a better understanding of what many of the terms mean,” one participant said. “I have heard the terms before but didn’t know what they meant. I also obtained an understanding of how our unintentional actions can affect others.”

“There’s lots to learn in this area,” another participant said. “My key takeaway was the information about what is OK to ask and say and what is not. I also found breaking down the different identities helpful.”

“The session was highly informative and Brayden did an excellent job of explaining issues and ideas in down-to-earth and easy to understand language,” a third participant said.  “He created a very safe space for questions and discussion.”

Members can join the conversation by attending the final session for this financial year:
