2018 CFA/MFB Treadmill Challenge

The CFA/MFB 14-hour Treadmill Challenge is on!

2018

This annual event sees the CFA and MFB running clubs join forces to raise funds for The Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) Good Friday Appeal in conjunction with Uncle Bobs Club.

The aim of the run is to raise awareness of the Good Friday Appeal with people in the city for the 14-hour period and to receive donations for this special cause.

We are looking for people who are interested in running/jogging laps and interested in fundraising (tin rattling) in the vicinity of the runners.

The event is on THURSDAY 29 March 2018

Located at the Bourke St Mall in Melbourne

It starts at 7am and finishes at 9pm

The team will have one CFA member and one MFB member on a treadmill at all times.

We do not expect our runners to run three hours straight. Instead, runners/joggers will rotate around with at least four to five other CFA runners per three-hour block.

We also seek assistance from those not interested in running but assistance in fundraising in the vicinity of the runners.

The involvement from CFA every year is always outstanding. Many friendships have been forged through this event between staff and volunteers and between the agencies. This event is where politics and issues are left behind and the most important goal for the day is raising funds for kids in need.

Can't make the event? How about a tax deductible donation instead via the following link and help us reach our goal of $5000:
