The North East Emergency Expo was held on 14 October at Corryong Recreation Reserve.
The aim of this important event was to give Corryong residents information and resources to assist them with preparing for emergencies, response and recovery.
Thirty emergency services groups, support groups, businesses, schools and clubs attended from Victoria and New South Wales.
The North East Emergency Expo is a biennial event that was originally created by a VICSES volunteer to offer information to small rural communities in North East Victoria to help build their resilience.
The event is now run by the North East Emergency Action Group Incorporated, a not-for-profit charity created in August 2020 to manage and coordinate events in north-east Victoria.
