On Saturday 27th April the Beechworth Urban Brigade held their awards night at the Hibernian Hotel.
The awards totaled 300 years of service to the CFA which is a fantastic achievement. The evening was well attended with Mark Owens, Operations Officer for District 24 presenting the awards.

The highlight of the evening was Captain Rod Gaskett receiving his 50 year clasp. Rod has shown great dedication and service to the Beechworth Community over the past 50 years. As well as being Captain, Rod also administers the Fire Equipment Maintenance for the town as well as the Co-ordinator for the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal in Beechworth.
