Bendigo Bank steps up again

Once again the Woori Yallock & District Community Bank has got on board and given funding to Hoddles Creek Fire Brigade.

Hoddles Creek Fire Brigade submitted an application to Bendigo Bank to fund a portable hot water hand wash station which could be used on the Hoddles Creek catering trailer. The addition of the Tealwash Big Sink to the catering trailer would allow for hygienic feeding of personnel in the field. The unit is self-contained, provides hot water, is sensor operated, and can provide 125 hand washes per refill.

Hoddle Creek brigade provides catering to volunteers when needed as well as at other events as a way of fundraising for the brigade.

Members of the brigade and Yarra Valley catchment team attended a morning tea last week to be presented with a cheque for $2194 from the Woori Yallock & District Community Bank. A number of other presentations were made to the local community which totalled around $20,000.

Bendigo Bank has helped many brigades across the state and CFA is grateful for its ongoing support.
