Builder rescue

Crews from Dandenong and Noble Park brigades assisted Ambulance Victoria paramedics in retrieving an injured builder from the first floor of a building site.

The male worker is believed to have fallen from a ladder on to the upper level floor and suffered possible spinal injuries.

For safety he was stabilised and then strapped into a Stokes litter and lowered down to the ground to waiting paramedics.

He was assessed and then transported to the Alfred Hospital for treatment.
