Firefighters from the Metropolitan Fire Brigade (MFB) and CFA have again swapped places to enhance interoperability between the two organisations.
To support the initiative, CFA's Emergency Management Career Development unit has coordinated a comprehensive training package for the personnel crossing over from the MFB. The program has been specifically designed to develop knowledge sharing and cooperation between the two agencies.
Over the past three weeks, MFB personnel have visited CFA stations, communication centres and training colleges to enhance their knowledge of CFA's operating environment.
CFA's Emergency Management Career Development Unit would like to thank all personnel who have contributed their time, energy and enthusiasm to the program.
