This year, CFA will again have a display at the Seymour Alternative Farming Expo.
This annual event, which attracts visitors from across the state, will again feature a CFA display. This year, we will be co-sharing a space with Victoria Police.
"We put on a big display including a truck, bushfire safety information, planned burning and vegetation management information," said Matt Ahern, District 12 Community Education Coordinator.
"There will also be stickers, balloons and either Little Pat or Little Lex to entertain the kids."
Matt is organising our display with support from the District 12 Headquarters Brigade and Seymour Fire Brigade's Community Safety Coordinator.
The CFA display will also include information about the Easter Art Show at Trawool Fire Station, just down the road from Seymour, to raise funds for the brigade. Some of the artists who will be featured at Trawool Fire Station will be at the CFA display to promote the art fundraiser. The Easter Art Show has a gala opening at 6.30pm on Thursday 29 March, and is then open from Friday 30 March to Monday 2 April.
The Expo runs from Friday 16 February to Sunday 18 February at Kings Park, Seymour.
