CFA crews were kept busy this morning attending two houses fires and a blaze which significantly damaged a cafe near Wangaratta.
The first fire was at Lake Boga just after 3.00am. Crews arrived to find a house on Long Lake Road fully involved in fire.
It took just under an hour to bring the fire under control and the house has been totally destroyed.
The property was vacant at the time and fire investigators will attend the scene this morning to determine the cause of the fire.
Four trucks and a salvage vehicle from Lake Boga, Lake Charm and Swan Hill attended.
Just before 5.00am, CFA was called to a fire at a cafe on Glenrowan-Myrtleford Road in Oxley.
It took about 30 minutes to bring the fire under control. The roof and kitchen area within the building have been significantly damaged.
Crews have been working this morning to pull apart the roofing to ensure the fire is fully extinguished.
No-one was at the business at the time of the fire and investigators will attend this morning to determine the cause of the blaze.
About 40 firefighters from Glenrowan, Milawa, Oxley, South Wangaratta and Wangaratta attended the incident.
At 6.30am today, CFA also attended a house fire on Frankston-Flinders Road in Somerville.
The fire was brought under control at 7.10am with a lady, believed to be aged in her 70s, treated by ambulance for shock.
Investigators will attend the scene this morning to determine the cause of the fire.
Four trucks and a number of support vehicles from Baxter, Frankston, Somerville and Tyabb attended the incident.
