Formed more than two years’ ago, the CFA Caravan Club is continuing to grow and is on the look-out for new members to join more than 30 already belonging to the group.
Linked by a common love of hitching a van to explore the country, there is also a distinct CFA feel, with the latest trip to Lakes Entrance including a get-together at the fire station.
Club president John Raymond said this was used as an opportunity to discuss the club and ideas for its future direction. A dinner in the function room at the caravan park also provided a great social opportunity for members.
The next scheduled club weekend away is to Hamilton in October and new members are welcome to attend.
