CFA proudly supports the Sikh festival of Vaisakhi at Federation Square this Saturday 28 April, 2018.
The Vaisakhi Festival is a celebration of Sikh tradition, heritage and culture, and will include Shabad kirtan (spiritual music), langar (food), turban tying, folk music, stage plays, martial arts, children’s activities, and much more.
CFA will be taking part in the festival with a joint display with Metropolitan Fire Brigade to celebrate the Sikh culture, engage with the community and pass on valuable fire safety information.
There will also be entertainment for the kids with April and Captain Koala and Little Lex the miniature CFA helicopter.
