Noble Park Fire Brigade last night (17 February 2021) resumed operational duties, after all identified contacts of a confirmed case from Noble Park Fire Brigade were isolated and tested and buildings cleaned as part of precautionary measures.

Alternative arrangements were in place with neighbouring brigades during its closure to ensure community safety and emergency response was not compromised.

Warrandyte, Wallan and Kilmore fire stations and district headquarter offices in Seymour, Dandenong and Shepparton were also closed for deep cleaning as a precaution and reopened earlier this month.

A group of brigades in District 8 and District 12 reverted to essential activities only as a precautionary measure, with all non-essential activities postponed or cancelled, but are now back to operating at the same response level as the rest of CFA.

Not all of the impacted stations had close contacts associated with the positive case. This was a cautious and safe approach to ensure the safety of our members and the community.
