CFA Sunday at Maiden Gully

CFA
Sunday at Maiden Gully got underway with a cooked breakfast for members that
became a free sausage sizzle for residents as the morning progressed.

Over sixty people attended the Fire Station during the morning and participated by using fire hoses and truck mounted monitors, training with fire blankets to control stove fires, seeing a burn over drill and having discussions about the brigade and being prepared for the summer fire season. Brigade Community Safety Barry Barnett was very pleased with the attendance as well as the supportive publicity leading up to the event. “On top of being one of our best turnouts yet, several of our visitors showed definite interest in joining the Brigade”, he said.
