CFA treasure

Dot McGee was a treasured volunteer in District 6. Her passion, dedication and community spirit was consuming and it inspired all who met her

Dot paved the way for junior members in District 6 and was instrumental in putting them on the map through the VFBV rural championships.

Dot sadly passed away on July 13th and is sorely missed by all who knew her. She has left a huge gap within her community of Irrewarra and in particular the Irrewarra fire brigade where she voluntarily served for the past 33 years. Dot held many roles during her time with the Irrewarra fire brigade such as the secretary role for 14 years, comms officer, brigade training officer, junior leader and the VFBV delegate. To say Dot lived for her community and family would be an understatement. She dedicated her life to helping others.

We thank Dot from the bottom of our hearts in District 6 and appreciate all that she did during her 33 years in the district. Your hard work, dedication and exceptional service will never be forgotten.
