Child's fingers stuck in bath

Update @ 11.30am: The three-year-old child has been removed from the bath and will be transported to hospital to have the plug removed. 

CFA firefighters are working to free a young boy with his fingers stuck in a bathtub in Sunbury.

Crews were called to the Gap Road home around 10.30am to find a three-year-old boy with three fingers stuck in the bath’s drain.

Firefighters are using specialist camera equipment to gain access to the bath from underneath the house.

 Police and paramedics are also attending, with the delicate rescue expected to take some time.

Three CFA vehicles are on scene from Sunbury and Melton.
