Commemorative service to be held for 20-year anniversary of Linton

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Linton fire that claimed the lives of five Geelong West firefighters - Matthew Armstrong, Jason Thomas, Chris Evans, Stuart Davidson and Garry Vredeveldt.


In memory of their sacrifice, Geelong West Brigade is conducting a commemoration service on Sunday 2 December,and the brigade is extending a warm welcome to those who would like to attend.

When: 6pm, Sunday 2 December 2018

Where: Geelong West Memorial Park 

Dress: CFA uniform or smart casual

The service will be held at Geelong West Memorial Park, cnr Autumn St and Pakington St Geelong West, Melways 451 J2. 

A barbecue and light refreshments will be served after at Geelong West Fire Station, 67b McCurdy Road, Herne Hill. 

When you RSVP, please indicate whether you will be attending the BBQ as well as the service.
