Recently the community engagement team from CFA, DELWP and Parks Victoria supported Loch Sport Fire Brigade members as they delivered summer fire safety awareness to their community and tourists.
The community education trailer was set-up at the Loch Sport Fire Station and members of the general public and tourists attended to gather bushfire information and seek advice in the event of bushfire within the local area. Questions were posed in relation to fuel types and fuel loads.
The importance of having a 'leave early' plan and staying informed via an emergency broadcaster or the Vic Emergency App was a key meesage for those who attended.
