Easter art exhibition to support CFA brigade

Whiteheads Creek Fire Brigade is holding an art exhibition this Easter, where you can buy the works of artists living in District 12 and support CFA at the same time.

It opens on Thursday 13 April at 7pm in the Brigade Hall, with the Mayor of Mitchell, Rhonda Sanderson, doing the honours. It runs right through Easter each day from 10am until 4pm until Monday 17 April, when it will close at noon.

There will be wines and finger food.

The silent auction painting by Alan Brown (see photo) shows Whiteheads Creek vehicles and members.

The raffle painting is ‘Highlands Landscape’ by Marja Verter (see photo).

All proceeds from these gorgeous works will go to the Whiteheads Creek brigade whose members work so hard to keep the community safe.

Whiteheads Creek brigade is 9 kilometres south of Seymour along the Kobyboyn Road. It's a lovely spot.

This is the fifth exhibition in the series ‘Art 4 CFA’.

Entry is by gold coin donation. We hope to see you there!
