Local CFA members are playing an important role in ensuring the accuracy of Victoria's official emergency services map books.
In the past, CFA produced its own map books but that job is now done by Spatial Vision on behalf of all Victoria's emergency services.
The Spatial Vision VicMap books are created using VicMap data, the authoritative source of spatial data in Victoria, and they are ground checked before production by local CFA members to ensure their quality and accuracy.
There are five books that cover Victoria; the Central, North West, South West, North East and South East books, and they are updated every two and a half years.
The books are available to the public from Spatial Vision. CFA members can buy the books at a discounted price by contacting their local district.
