Bunyip Primary School invited Bunyip Fire Brigade to spend the morning at the school for a ‘Thank you Fireys Day’. The schoolchildren displayed their costumes, thanked the brigade and took photos with them alongside the CFA FCV, pumper and tanker.

Bunyip Primary School organised a gold coin donation for the day was donated to CFA to say thank you for their ongoing efforts.

The brigade and school are part of a close community that continues to support one another. They often work together throughout the year, including delivering Fire Safe Kids to the school.

On behalf of the brigade, Bunyip brigade member Simon Sharpe thanked the school for its generous support.

“Bunyip has a close community and often comes together to help one another, so it’s great to feel supported by Bunyip Primary School,” he said.

“CFA has worked extremely hard over the past few months and it’s great to see these efforts being recognised.”
