20 CFA units alongside FRV responded to a structure fire on Victoria Road in Yering at around 1:43pm.
As of 5:30pm.
Crews responded from Chirnside Park, Lilydale, Yarra Glen, Bayswater, Nillumbik, Scoresby, Coldstream, Hillcrest, Gruyere, Yellingo, Mooroolbark and Mt Evelyn.
Ambulance Victoria, Victoria Police and relevant power and gas company were called to the scene.
The structure was evacuated safely.
Breathing apparatus crews were required.
Structure is approx. 60m x 30m and is well alight.
A community advice warning has been issued for smoke in the area.
Incident was deemed under control at 5:05pm. Crews remain on scene blacking out.
