Fiskville Inquiry – 15 June public hearing

The next public hearing for the Victorian Parliamentary Inquiry into the former CFA training college at Fiskville takes place  next Monday 15 June.

Twelve people have been called to give evidence, including United Firefighters Union (UFU) representatives and Secretary Peter Marshall; and Volunteer Fire Brigades Victoria (VFBV) CEO Andrew Ford and Executive Officer Adam Barnett.

To date, we have not made any public statements to ensure there is no interference in the Inquiry process. However, we expect we will be given the opportunity to provide evidence in support of our submission to the Inquiry at a future stage.

More than 400 submissions have been received by the Environment, Natural Resources and Regional Development Parliamentary Committee, including a written submission by CFA.

The Parliamentary committee is due to complete its interim report by 30 June.

Transcripts from each hearing can be viewed here once finalised by the Committee.
