Good Friday Appeal 2015

CFA is encouraging members to get behind the 2015 Good Friday Appeal on 3 April 2015.

For more than 60 years, many of CFA’s 62,000 dedicated members have shown their support by raising over $23 million for the appeal.

The face of this year’s appeal is cheeky two-year-old Oliver Tucker. Oliver has cerebral palsy and has been a patient at the Royal Children’s Hospital since he was a little baby. The messages going from his brain to his muscles don’t quite work and he sees lots of different specialists at the hospital who help his development.

"Money raised from the Good Friday Appeal goes towards helping sick kids like Oliver. Funding equipment, research and education gives children the best chance for a healthy start in life by ensuring The Royal Children’s Hospital continues to offer world-class care,” said Appeal's Director Anne Randall.

Last year CFA contributed $1.6 million to the grand total. This year our brigades will be at it again, helping to raise as much as they can through activities such as tin rattling and the 14-hour relay with our MFB counterparts.

The 2015 Good Friday Appeal will take place on Friday 3 April at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. The day includes the live broadcast and the popular Kids Day Out, a wonderland for kids with fun activities for the whole family.

Brigades interested in raising money for the appeal can contact Emoke Bakacs at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

We’d also love to hear about all the fundraising activities that your brigade is doing, so please post a story and photos on News & Media.
