Hallam brigade attended a nasty two-car crash at 11.30am today at the intersection of the Belgrave-Hallam Road and Monash Freeway.
Senior Station Officer Stephen Keating said the brigade was called to assist in the clean-up at the scene, using absorbent to soak up the oil that had leaked on to the road.
A driver in one vehicle was treated at the scene by Ambulance Victoria and believed to be transported to hospital. There were no injuries to occupants in the second vehicle.
Police remained on scene on departure of the brigade.
